ABOUT THE EMILY TAYLOR LEGACY PROJECT
On 18 November 2013, our world fell apart when our beloved 17 year old daughter Emily lost her battle with depression and ended her life. We were left to figure out how to live without her and survive our terrible loss.
We decided that we needed to pick ourselves up off our knees and honour her memory by helping other adolescents who struggle with mental unwellness. We held the first annual Emily's Memorial Motorcycle Ride on 4 June 2016, with all proceeds going to CASA Foundation and CASA to support children's mental health. Emily's Memorial Motorcycle ride has raised over $110,000 for CASA House recreational programs, the Equine Therapy program and other unfunded and needed CASA initiatives.
